Job Summary
CoolCash seeks a highly motivated, bilingual Business Development & Operations Manager (BDOM) to drive its expansion within the Dominican Republic. This role will initially focus on developing and executing a robust business development strategy, with a sharp emphasis on loan origination to achieve optimal conversion rates that align with company objectives.
Success in this role hinges on the candidate’s proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with C-suite executives, senior managers, HR professionals, and other key stakeholders to foster rapid growth and sustainability. At the appropriate juncture, the BDOM will lead the company through a successful IPO process, ensuring a seamless transition to a publicly traded entity.
Reporting To: General Manager, Cool Loans Limited
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement an aggressive sales strategy to maximize revenue and achieve targets.
• Prospect and secure new customers, ensuring thorough follow-through to closure.
• Organize business meetings with C-suite executives, senior managers, HR professionals, and other key stakeholders to generate employee loans.
• Identify and leverage networking opportunities to reach target audiences.
• Hire, train, and coach a high-performing sales team to ensure maximum productivity.
• Monitor and review sales leads and logs to ensure timely follow-up and processing.
• Recommend and implement efficient workflows to enhance loan output.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure timely and effective marketing activities.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities, recommending adjustments to keep the business competitive.
• Translate documents, as necessary.
• Assist the General Manager and Financial Controller with annual budget preparation.
• Conduct regular sales analyses, using data to drive performance.
• Prepare and present reports as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Management, Operations, or a related field.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, with excellent communication and translation skills.
• Proven history of outstanding sales achievements.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead a bilingual team effectively.
• Highly organized and capable of working independently without direct supervision.
