Expected total yearly compensation potential of $80,000 to $120,000.

Learning Bird partners with First Nations, Métis, and Inuit leaders to develop education solutions for lifelong learning. Our work includes curriculum development, course development, digital and print resource creation, educator support, professional development, and more. Learning Bird is a 100% remote company with contributors located across Canada.

What we expect of you:

  • Research potential partners and reach out by phone (cold calls) and email
  • Manage a territory, with responsibility for forecasting and reporting on results
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, including governing bodies and funding bodies, influencing organizations, schools, Nations and communities to explore opportunities for collaboration and connection.
  • Understand partner needs and propose solutions.
  • Take great notes and log partner correspondence and market data in our CRM
  • Match opportunities to available grants and programs
  • Write grant applications to help secure project funding for our partners
  • Write sales proposals and other custom documents to support the decision cycle
  • Work with internal teams to coordinate schedules, priorities, and transitions
  • Represent Learning Bird at events, conferences, and other meeting

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of success in B2B sales
  • University degree, preferably in education
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • A natural ability to forge relationships by phone, email, and video calls
  • Strong research, opportunity qualification, and problem-solving skills
  • An ability to respond quickly to opportunities and balance multiple conversations
  • Expert CRM software user committed to logging communications daily
  • Availability to travel for events, trade shows, and meetings
  • Broadband Internet connection with reliable connectivity
  • Remote work location within your sales territory
  • Strong computer skills – able to troubleshoot their own issues.

This role is a full-time (40 hours/week) remote position with normal business hours for the time zone. Candidates must work from within their sales territory. We will only contact selected candidates. The candidate selected for the position must pass a background check before we extend an employment offer.
