Job Overview
In the role of Sales and Business Development Leader, you will serve as the driving force behind our sales initiatives and business expansion strategies. This multifaceted position includes responsibilities across direct sales, sales management, operations, and growth leadership. You will work closely with our executive team to define our sales strategy, build a high-performing sales team, and foster robust relationships with clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct Sales: Lead the effort in generating new business, converting inbound leads, and managing the sales pipeline from inception to completion.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue partnership opportunities, including lead generation, co-branding, white-label initiatives, and referral partnerships, to meet business development objectives alongside direct sales and revenue targets.
- Cross-Sales/Up-Sales: Detect opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within our existing client base while creating processes and automations to support an ongoing cross-sales program.
- Sales Operations: Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance sales materials and optimize the lead/pre-sales experience while managing HubSpot and other internal sales systems.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably within the agency or SaaS industry.
- A successful record of closing sales, managing sales teams, and achieving revenue goals.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly HubSpot, and experience in sales operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building strong client and partner relationships.
- A strategic approach to identifying new opportunities and driving business growth.
- Established partnerships and a robust network within the digital marketing or tech industry are highly advantageous.
- A strong network in specific target sectors, particularly in legal or dental industries, is a plus.
