We’re looking for a Product Manager with an analyst mindset, who specializes in operational improvements on payment platforms. Our goal is to solve customer issues faster, by finding ways to automate our steps and processes. By doing so, we will be able to scale and grow the GoDaddy Payments business.
What you’ll get to do…
* Manage relationships with our payment partners, supporting the GoDaddy Payments Payfac business, who help enable multiple payment methods for our customers.
* Support our core payment platform, which enables the GoDaddy Payments team and the banking partners to work closely with product management, software development, and technical operations.
* Work closely with internal clients, such as Customer Service, Finance, Accounting, and Fraud, as well as third-party partners and banks, to process payments for our Payfac.
* Help facilitate our operational relationship with third-party payment partners, advocating for customer experience and applying operational improvements.
* Support operational efficiencies and reduce the amount of critical issues.
* Drive operational excellence within payments, with a focus on building initiatives for automation, for scaling our operations volume.
* Work in tandem with our analysts, who investigate customer issues, collect data and help with projects to improve the operational quality for managing our payments platform for forecasted growth.
* Work alongside other Product managers to identify operational gaps in existing product capabilities.
Your experience should include…
* 2+ years of experience in Product Management, or equivalent capability for any payment product.
* 3+ years of Payment Operations experience, Chargeback, and/or Fraud Detection related experience.
* Knowledge of the payment processing industry (both cards & alternative payment methods) with experience as a successful people and project manager.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively multi-task, identify improvement opportunities and create clear, compelling, and actionable proposals.
* Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and SQL.
* Hands-on experience with APIs, SQL, and payments security standards, along with familiarity with DevOps principles and issue-triaging processes.
You might also have…
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/other STEM field or equivalent applicable experience
* 2+ years of experience as Project Manager.
* Experience with Tableau and Hadoop is preferred
