About the role

As the Business Unit General Manager – SAP S/4HANA at Solutions+, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the success of our SAP S/4HANA Business Unit. This pivotal leadership role requires a dynamic individual to lead both operational execution and strategic growth, working in close collaboration with the General Manager – Business Development to achieve overall business objectives.

In this full-time role based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Adelaide, you will leverage your expertise in product strategy, operational management, and people leadership to guide the SAP S/4HANA Business Unit toward sustainable growth, profitability, and excellence in customer service.

What you’ll be doing

• Develop and execute the strategic vision and growth plan for the SAP S/4HANA business unit
• Grow the customer base
• Lead and manage a team of SAP consultants, ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions and exceptional client service
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of SAP S/4HANA implementation and support projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the client’s satisfaction
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and proactively identifying opportunities to expand our services
• Drive Business Unit financial performance, including managing budgets, forecasts, and profit and loss (P&L) accountability.
• Collaborate with the wider Solutions+ team to identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the company’s overall business strategy
• Monitor industry trends and best practices, and implement initiatives to keep the SAP S/4HANA business unit at the forefront of the market

What we’re looking for

• Extensive experience (8+ years) in selling, managing and delivering SAP S/4HANA solutions, with a proven track record of driving successful implementations
• Existing relationships with SAP and clients
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee complex, multi-stakeholder projects
• Deep understanding of SAP’s product offerings, architecture, and implementation methodologies
• Familiarity with best practices in change management, business process optimisation, and digital transformation
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, partners, and cross-functional teams
