Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with expertise in C#, Visual Studio Tools for Office (VSTO), and Office Add-ins development. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and supporting complex business solutions tailored for the BFSI industry. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to lead the architecture, development, and integration of Microsoft Office Add-ins while ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems. This is a leadership role, responsible for mentoring teams, driving best practices, and delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of developers in the design, development, and implementation of Office Add-ins and VSTO-based solutions.
Architect scalable, maintainable, and high-performance applications using C#, VSTO, and other Microsoft technologies.
Ensure that solutions are aligned with business needs, following best practices, design patterns, and enterprise architecture standards.

Development & Integration:

Develop Microsoft Office Add-ins (Word, Excel, Outlook) using VSTO and C# for automation, customization, and enhancing user productivity.
Work on enhancing and extending existing solutions with new features and optimizations.
Lead the integration of Office Add-ins with backend services, APIs, and databases.
Manage deployment, configuration, and support of the developed solutions across different environments.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather and translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
Provide technical solutions for business challenges, ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
Engage with external clients (especially in the BFSI domain) to understand their requirements, provide solutions, and present technical documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Framework development.
Expertise in Visual Studio Tools for Office (VSTO) and experience in developing and deploying Office Add-ins.
Deep understanding of Microsoft Office API, Add-in manifest files, and customization of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Knowledge of RESTful services, web APIs, and client-server integration with Office Add-ins.
Familiarity with front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for modern Office Add-in development.

Domain Knowledge:

Experience working in the BFSI domain is highly desirable.
Understanding of financial and banking processes, with the ability to tailor solutions to industry-specific use cases.

Tools & Frameworks:

Experience with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and other relevant development tools.
Familiarity with database technologies like SQL Server and proficiency in handling complex data models.
Knowledge of version control systems like Git.

Leadership & Communication:

Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.

Education & Certifications:

Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certifications in Microsoft technologies (e.g., MCSD, Azure) are a plus.
