Indigeco is supporting a major NSW Department in sourcing for Contact Centre Operators. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with customer service experience to join a dedicated and collaborative team to support the people of NSW. You will be working in a branch that is committed to supporting victims of violent crime. They provide access to essential services such as counselling, financial assistance, and support programs for individuals impacted by crime.Â

- Job Opportunity:Â Call Centre Operator
- Start Date: 09 /12/2024
- End Date: 30/03/2025
- Hours/week: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pmÂ
- Pay rate: $34.50 per hour + super
- Location: Paramatta with WFH Options
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound calls and provide a high level of customer service, offering advice, support, and appropriate referrals to victims of crime.
- Deliver first contact resolution through phone and written communication, ensuring a positive client experience.
- Ensure compliance with all administrative requirements while managing competing priorities and demands.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and recommend improvements to policies and procedures.
- Provide trauma-informed support and services to victims, adhering to the Victims’ Rights and Support Act 2013 and other relevant guidelines.
- Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and maintain performance targets in a fast-paced environment.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in customer service, ideally in a call centre or high-volume environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to provide empathetic support to victims of crime.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Ability to work within a trauma-informed framework, ensuring respectful and sensitive service delivery.
- A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (proof required prior to commencing employment).
