Position Description
Capsol is looking to add a Carbon Capture Product Manager to the Americas team. The role will primarily be responsible for enhancing current product offerings and help build new products targeting customers in the Americas, The Manager’s technical expertise will contribute to our product strategies and offerings, particularly within the carbon capture and storage sector in North America. The Manager will play a key role in the product team, and will report to the Americas offices, as well as to the Chief Product Officer in Oslo, Norway.
ResponsibilitiesÂ
•Define and prioritize technical product requirements based on Carbon Capture market needs
•Ensure the success of the product in close collaboration with R&D / Engineering
•Educate both internal and external stakeholders about the product features and their benefits
•Help drive the sales activities of the product
•Take ownership of customer journeys from client acquisition and product sales to implementation and after sales.
•Work on multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic and constantly evolving context.
•Support the definition of the product roadmap of the company
•Lead the definition of overall product strategy
Qualifications
•3+ years of experience working on a product as an analyst or manager ideally in the carbon capture domain
•5 to 10 years of total work experience in a relevant industry
•Experience in product management and/or gas turbine (service) sales is required
•Technical knowledge of gas turbines and other rotating equipment preferred
•MBA is a plus
•Ability to be analytical, with the ability to develop and understand product management strategy.
•Innovative and creative problem-solving skills, with strong track record of translating technology developments into valuable business
•Cleantech experience would be a plus
•Work experience with early teams in a new geography for an established firm is desired but not necessary

Job Location
Candidates can be based anywhere in the US but preference is for candidates already based in the Houston area. Role can be 100% remote. Travel to the Houston office is on an as needed basis.
