The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of new client implementations on the Cleverbridge eCommerce platform in addition to the integration of projects for existing clients, as needed. This includes coordinating both client and cross-functional operational teams to support all aspects of setup, design and development.

This position will serve as the main point of contact for client facing implementations. The Project Manager coordinates both internal and client facing tasks, manages overall timelines, and regularly communicates status to client and internal stakeholders to ensure a successful and seamless project. Projects will include both existing client expansion as well as new logo onboardings.

We are hiring for this position in our Chicago office, hybrid or fully remote.

Your Background

• 5+ years of relevant software project management experience.
• Experience performing all formal project management of projects; establishing scope, creating project artifacts, developing detailed project plans, independently leading from initiation through closing, managing issues and risk, establishing, and maintaining communication cadence.
• Demonstrated ability to learn SaaS platform and articulate best practices.
• Experience working in a global environment.
• Experience utilizing Agile, Waterfall, and a blend of both methodologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and written communication skills.
• Ability to influence and challenge to drive clarity around issues and needs.
• PMP preferred, or other relevant certification/experience accepted.
• SaaS implementation experience preferred.

Your Responsibilities

• Accountable for overall planning, execution, control, and completion of assigned projects.
• Ability to lead on the most strategic, high revenue projects at Cleverbridge.
• Assist in writing Statement of Work (SOW) documentation in line with sales expectations.
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, forecast proper timelines, manage risks, and document change requests when required.
• Work cross-functionally to negotiate, creatively problem-solve, build relationships, and think strategically.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on the Cleverbridge platform; guide clients on best practice approach and be able to articulate the value proposition of the platform.
• Conduct requirement gathering meeting with stakeholders, business users, and technical organization (development) to capture the technical and functional requirements and use cases.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and deliverables, including Project Plan, RAID log, RACI, etc. Establish and maintain a cadence of project meetings and status reporting.
• Continuously improve upon existing project management methodology. Assist with the expansion of the Cleverbridge project management methodology, best practices, and tools.
• Build strong client relationships throughout implementations; escalate issues internally as needed to remove roadblocks ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
• Develop basic change management plans in partnership with the business partnering team and working with internal communications experts on change materials
• Monitor sales pipeline and project status dashboard in SalesForce; participate in sales meetings for implementation expertise and planning advisement.
• Research and analyze new technologies. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks.
• Provide guidance to more junior resources on the team.
