Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analyses of brand performance and scrutinize the competitive landscape utilizing diverse data sources, including POS, panel data, and syndicated data to achieve a holistic understanding of the marketplace.
- Provide actionable insights tailored to customer needs and category-level guidance to reveal business opportunities that enhance category sales and strengthen our customer relationships.
- Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities by comprehending distribution channels and customer marketing requirements.
- Convert consumer insights into tangible commercial opportunities, activating essential ideas at the retailer level.
- Lead analytics for customer accounts, maximizing retailer-specific data portals (e.g., Retail Link, Target POL, Albertsons) to inform strategic decisions.
- Oversee POS tracking, inventory management, and forecasting efforts to ensure they align with business objectives.
- Contribute to insights and strategy during Line Reviews, collaborating with sales leaders.
- Deliver consistent reporting, including monthly scorecards and weekly updates for key customers.
- Collaborate closely with supply teams to monitor inventory and utilize sales data to assess brand performance, identifying additional growth opportunities.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated experience in shopper insights or a closely related field.
- Proven capability to formulate and implement go-to-market strategies, transforming insights into actionable business plans.
- Proficient in synthesizing data from multiple sources to tell a coherent story and effectively visualize insights.
- Familiarity with both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including ethnography, consumer journeys, focus groups, surveys, and concept evaluations.
- Experience in managing relationships with external research agencies.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Strong influencing abilities, with the capacity to collaborate with leaders, cross-functional teams, and external partners.
- Excellent project management skills, adept at resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
- A mindset geared towards growth, with a passion for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in data, data science, or a related discipline (an MBA or other advanced degrees are advantageous).
- A minimum of 4 years of experience working with retailer data portals (e.g., Walmart, Target) and syndicated data sources, such as IRI, Nielsen, Numerator, Kantar, etc.
- Valid experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, with a proven track record in shopper insights or a related domain.

- Competitive salary range of (125,000-)135,000 + bonus.
