Cathodic Protection Project Manager (Remote)

We are seeking an experienced Remote Project Manager specializing in cathodic protection (CP) to spearhead vital projects focused on environmental compliance and safety. This position offers you the opportunity to shape your role and contribute significantly to our commitment to environmental stewardship.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 5-10 concurrent short-cycle CP projects, primarily involving the installation of CP systems at convenience stores, with budgets ranging from (10K to )50K.
• Select, negotiate, and oversee subcontractors to ensure timely and quality delivery of CP testing, installation, and maintenance services.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, and quality assurance protocols to guarantee projects are completed on time and within established parameters.
• Identify, assess, and resolve potential risks while ensuring adherence to applicable regulations and industry standards.

Required Skills

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in cathodic protection, with at least 2 years in a project management capacity.
• NACE certifications (CP1, CP2, CP3, or CP4) are desirable but not mandatory; minimal engineering knowledge is required.
• Proven expertise in managing remote teams and projects efficiently.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients, engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in data management, invoicing, and reporting.

Qualifications

• A degree in project management or an engineering discipline (civil, mechanical, electrical, or chemical) is advantageous but not obligatory.
• Candidates must reside in the continental U.S., with preferred locations including Austin, TX; Houston, TX; San Antonio, TX; Elgin, IL; or Mount Laurel, NJ, although flexibility is offered.
