The Role

The Central Operations Project Manager will be responsible for leading and executing multi-site, cross-functional process improvement projects across various aspects of operations, including logistics, training, process changes, and warehouse management systems (WMS) enhancements. Projects will range in scope from optimization initiatives to supporting growth markets when required. The Central Operations Project Manager will report to the California GM, with a dotted line to the VP of Ops for initiatives that are derived outside of the California supply chain.

This role requires a strategic thinker and proactive leader who can collaborate effectively with stakeholders across departments to ensure successful project delivery. Key responsibilities include identifying areas for improvement, developing and implementing project plans, coordinating resources, and ensuring all project activities align with company goals. The Operations Project Manager will also drive process standardization and best practice implementation across sites, track project performance, and communicate progress to leadership. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain or logistics operations and a proven track record of leading large-scale projects with measurable impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multi-site, cross-functional projects focused on process improvements in logistics, training/development, internal software systems and warehouse operations.
  • Using Asana, centrally develop and execute detailed project plans, including defining scope, setting timelines, and allocating resources to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments to identify project requirements, align objectives, and establish effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analyze current operational processes and identify areas for improvement, utilizing data-driven approaches to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Track and report on project performance, including key metrics, milestones, and deliverables, to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Manage risks and resolve issues proactively, making data-informed decisions to keep projects on track and within budget.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess project impact, capture feedback, and identify opportunities for further improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager or other cross-functional leadership capacity
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
  • Outstanding communication and people skills
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain management
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Familiarity with MS Office, Google Suite, and various business software (e.g., ERP, WMS)
  • BS/BA in business administration or relevant field; MS/MA a plus
  • Budget and P&L management experience
  • Systematic and highly analytical work habits
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Low-ego, adaptable, and high EQ
  • Willing and able to travel domestically up to 30% at peak times
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
