Position: Channel Manager (Remote)

We are looking for an enthusiastic Channel Manager to oversee and enhance video content for top creators across platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. In this vital role, you will develop and execute social strategies that align with our clients’ objectives and our mission of empowering creators. You will report directly to the Head of Amplify.

Key Responsibilities

Content Optimization: Upload and optimize video content across various platforms for our clients.

Strategy Development: Review client content while creating packaging strategies and paper edits for clips scheduled for posting.

Thumbnail Creation: Craft compelling post copy and engaging thumbnails for video content.

Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with team members and clients via Slack and email, maintaining a professional and respectful partnership.

Analytics and Reporting: Analyze performance data, consistently reviewing channels and pages to identify successful trends and patterns that can drive further success.

Project Management: Meet deadlines while tracking edits, managing social calendars, and planning and updating content editing and distribution strategies for each client using Monday.com.

Constant Learning: Stay informed about the latest social trends, platform updates, and timely topics of conversation.

Requirements

A minimum of 3 years of experience in social media content and strategy.

Proven experience as a Channel Manager on platforms such as YouTube, Meta Business Suite, and others.

Ability to conceptualize creative video packaging, including editing, metadata, and design.

Strong understanding of algorithms, SEO, and audience growth strategies.

Basic knowledge of post-production workflows, including video editing in Adobe Premiere and creating dynamic thumbnails in Photoshop.

Excellent communication skills to execute plans across departments and positively represent our company in external calls and client meetings.

Strong project management and organizational abilities, with a knack for managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams both internally and externally.

A creative visionary with a strong editorial and strategic mindset.

Location:

We are currently accepting candidates located in California or New York.

Bonus Skills

Experience managing accounts on X (formerly Twitter) and TikTok.

Familiarity with Monday.com or other project management software is a plus.

Compensation

$40/hour, 40 hours per week. This is a contract-to-hire position.
