We are a customer focused organisation with several thousand construction businesses as members. We provide consumers with the assurance that Certass members are capable of carrying out work in the areas which we certify them.
What you’ll be doing
The primary focus will be customer centric, creating new business leads into the sales pipeline, follow up warm leads and provide support throughout the new member onboarding process.
You will need to deliver a great customer experience to incoming customers, providing them with a personable welcome service, building a strong rapport from the first interaction. Primarily you will be dealing with most over the phone, with some email and social media communication to support.
You will ensure inbound business leads are provided with robust support through knowledge of our scheme process & requirements from enquiry stage through to sign up. You will be proactive on following up leads (new & existing) and directly contribute to sales growth. We will help you get up to speed so that you have confidence in what you do.
The role is busy, diverse and varied and shall require that you have a strong ability to ensure client needs are met by understanding our business process & scheme requirements. You will be working as part of the customer service team.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with a personable & engaging customer focus where their existing role has transferable skills in customer care. A good telephone manner is essential, and you must have a friendly disposition with an ability to put our customers at ease. You must also have good written communication skills.
You will be required to multi-task as part of the role ensuring telephone calls are accurately and concisely logged into our CRM system.
Full training on systems and company documentation and processes will be provided.
You will be proficient on social media channels (with a focus on Facebook) and other communication software.
What are we paying?
£23,240 basic with bonus based on company performance. You will also receive the benefit of our employer contribution pension scheme.
35hrs, 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday 9am to 2pm Friday
Holiday entitlement 29 days plus bank holidays.

This is a home-based role.
