Clinical Team Scheduling Rostering | Recovery Station | Australia

Our “Why”

Recovery Station exists to empower people to live a quality life. We believe in fostering collaboration, utilising evidence based practise and maximising the potential of everyone within our team.

Joining Recovery Station means aligning with a company that believes in empowering you and your future.

Key Traits of Recovery Station:

  • We love what we do because every role in RS contributes to making a positive difference in the lives of others
  • Collaborating with passionate, likeminded colleagues facilitates personal and professional growth
  • Keeping personalised care at the heart of what we do challenges us to seek new and innovative ways to deliver the best possible service

How We Make an Impact

Recovery Station provides community and clinic based allied health services, with a strong focus on disability and senior health. For nearly 20 years we have consistently grown and now proudly offer services nationally via telepractice and in the community across Sydney, the Hunter, Central Coast, Illawarra and Melbourne.

Together, our passionate, multidisciplinary team of OTs, Mental Health OT’s, Psychologists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Dietitians and Allied Health Assistants collaboratively share their knowledge and experience to holistically design an individualised service to help improve the quality of life for people living with a disability or looking to age as independently as possible.

The Role

As we have recently hired more wonderful clinicians, we are now looking for another admin star to join our team. This role can be based from either our Erina or Toronto offices, with working from home an option as well once you’re settled in.

Our clinicians (the OT’s, Physios, Speech Pathologists etc listed above) work predominantly in the community by visiting clients in their homes, aged care facilities or group homes. They also come into the office to see clients, write reports, have social time and to meet with yourself where together you’ll discuss their caseload of clients.

Your role will help schedule the appointments for our clinicians by calling clients and coordinators of support so that we can service them as efficiently as possible.

You will work with roughly 4 or 5 clinicians at any given time and be part of a wider operations team of about 15 people who are based across our various offices. Along with your terrific colleagues, you’ll report to an Operations Team Lead who then reports to our Operations Manager, meaning along with your colleagues you’ll always have someone to go to with any questions!

Day to day you will be trusted with:

  • Scheduling clinicians diaries to minimise their weekly travel
  • Proactively making outbound calls and answering inbound client phone enquiries potentially about clinician availability or NDIS funding
  • Administrative support for your team of clinicians such as completing home safety checks or referral requests
  • Meet weekly with each of your clinicians to discuss client care needs
  • Processing of client billings and documentation such as service agreements
  • Assist with various ad hoc projects as directed by management

The role suits a highly-organised, positive person who is comfortable and confident being on the phone and who has a genuine compassion for the elderly and individuals with disability. Your enjoyment of helping others will optimise client satisfaction and their ability to achieve independence and improved quality of life to live life to the fullest.

The Position Offers

  • A social, fun, passionate team full of people committed to making a positive impact in the lives of others
  • Excellent job security (zero redundancies due to COVID)
  • An Employee Assistance Program is available to provide external, confidential support
  • Waterfront Toronto offices available with plenty of coffee, and snacks provided + we’re close to free parking
  • To celebrate success and bring us together as a team, we have a fun wellbeing program that involves monthly social events such as our Mental Health Olympic Games, cooking and art classes, candle-making, trivia nights, wheelchair basketball and barefoot bowls
  • Discounted Health Insurance for you and your family plus other everyday savings on your energy bills, online shopping, groceries and more
  • Opportunities for continual development, training and career progression

Key Criteria

  • Genuine empathy and interest in assisting people
  • Experience in the Healthcare or Disability space will be highly regarded
  • Must be available for a full-time position (Mon – Fri 8-4 or 9-5)
  • Intermediate computer skills (simple Excel + our intuitive internal system)
  • Excellent customer service, telephone manner and organisational skills
  • Effective at coordinating client requirements and clinical schedules
  • Flexibility to react when situations change and you need to adapt quickly

The Next Steps

If any of the above resonates with you, please apply via Seek.

We will endeavour to respond to your application as quickly as possible. Interviews will begin as applications are received.
