Client:

Our client, a leading biomedical and pharmaceutical company, is seeking a talented Cloud Engineer to join their team in Vienna and help them build a new cloud system that will enhance the security and efficiency of their product landscape. As a Cloud Engineer, you’ll be key in designing, deploying, and maintaining their cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with development and quality assurance teams to develop, modify, and maintain our cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes
• Implement and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment of microservices in test and production environments
• Use Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps technologies to maintain our Kubernetes clusters and infrastructure
• Support the team in maintaining legacy applications hosted in Azure
• Contribute to the development of new ideas and sustainable solutions for complex requirements on our platform
• Participate in agile team discussions and actively learn from colleagues

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, Azure DevOps, etc.) and version management tools (git)
• Experience with public cloud environments (Azure, Azure Cloud, AWS, or GCP)
• Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) and Linux systems
• Understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/OpenTofu, Ansible, etc.) and GitOps (e.g. Flux) technologies
• Strong interest in new technologies and innovations in the DevOps area
• Independent and responsible work ethic with a passion for teamwork
• Fluent German and Good English (B2 German welcome)

Salary: €5,000 – €7,700 per month + Bonus (€65-100k+ per annum)
