Cloud Infrastructure Project Manager (Remote)

Summary:

The Project Manager will lead and manage the execution of cloud-based and infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless delivery in line with organizational goals. The role requires a strong understanding of cloud environments, IT infrastructure, and the ability to coordinate between technical teams, stakeholders, and business units.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects related to infrastructure, cloud, and operations, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, cloud engineers, and operations staff, to define project scope, objectives, and timelines.
• Manage and monitor project progress, ensuring timely delivery of cloud-based infrastructure solutions while adhering to quality standards.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
• Work closely with senior leadership and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met and that project changes or issues are communicated effectively.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure cloud infrastructure, network, and other operational elements are aligned with project objectives.
• Oversee the integration and deployment of cloud solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Proactively manage project risks, identifying and resolving potential issues to keep the project on track.
• Track and report on project performance, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and accomplishments to stakeholders.
• Facilitate and manage regular project meetings, including sprint planning, status updates, and post-project reviews.
• Ensure that project documentation is accurate and up to date for compliance and operational purposes.
• Job Qualifications/Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in software project management, with a focus on infrastructure, cloud technologies.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and infrastructure management (virtualization, networking, etc.).
• Experience managing cloud migration, infrastructure as code (IaC), and deploying solutions to cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project).

Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
