Your Role, Your Schedule, Your Setup

Employment Type: Full-Time

Shift: Shifting (Training schedule: 9 AM–6 PM EST or 10 PM–7 AM, Monday to Friday for 3 weeks. Flexibility required for operational needs).

Your Credentials to Excel in This Role

  • Minimum of 3+ years of collections experience with no more than a 3-month gap in recent employment.
  • Proven experience working with an outsourcer and handling accounts delinquent for 120+ days.
  • Strong English communication skills, scoring no less than 9/10.
  • Reliable internet connection and the use of a laptop during the interview.
  • At least 1 year of prior work-from-home experience in a previous role.
  • Demonstrated strong negotiation skills during the pre-screening process.
  • Commitment to confirm interview attendance well in advance; failure to do so will result in disqualification.

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Previous call center experience, with at least 6 months in collections.
  • Exceptional phone and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication; knowledge of a second language is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM and call center systems.
  • Impeccable judgment and acute attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Experience in customer service, debt loan collection, consumer lending, or personal finance.
  • Familiarity with underwriting loans, financial statements, and payroll processes is a bonus.

Your Daily Tasks

  • Contact customers via phone and email to secure payments for past-due loans, determine the reasons for delinquency, and obtain payment commitments.
  • Negotiate payment in full or establish alternative payment arrangements.
  • Update and maintain customer accounts in the computer system.
  • Adhere to established guidelines when determining appropriate collection remedies.
  • Develop repayment schedules with tailored options and explain the consequences of delinquency to encourage timely payments.
  • Resolve client calls independently regarding payment inquiries and address payment-related issues.
  • Organize tasks and schedule follow-ups to ensure timely account resolution.
  • Record and update comprehensive account information to aid in resolution efforts.
  • Maintain and exceed established performance metrics.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures as required.
  • Assist with customer service tasks if requested by the manager.
