The role focuses on increasing annual sales for a Representative Agency and distributed Commercial Equipment product lines within various commercial customer sectors. It involves developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, promoting HVAC products, and ensuring the achievement of sales and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Growth: Drive annual sales for HVAC products across all commercial customer segments, including contractors, building owners, facility managers, architects, and engineers.
- The role focuses on increasing annual sales for a Rep Agency and distributed Commercial Equipment product lines within various commercial customer sectors.
- Key responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with contractors, building owners, facility managers, architects, and engineers to promote HVAC products and secure projects.
- The individual ensures favorable product specifications and collaborates with the Applications Group for design assistance.
- The role also involves analyzing HVAC systems, achieving sales KPIs (sales volume, gross profit, and net profit), and managing the sales pipeline, including performing win/loss analysis and improving win rates.
- Relationship Building: Initiate and maintain relationships with mechanical contractors, commercial building owners, developers, and other stakeholders to promote HVAC offerings and secure projects.
- Targeted Outreach: Make personal calls to architects, engineers, and commercial facilities firms to ensure favorable product specifications and meet sales targets.
- Collaboration & Design Assistance: Work with the Applications Group to provide design support, sizing, and calculations to ensure HVAC products are specified for engineered projects.
- HVAC System Analysis: Perform energy consumption analysis and cost comparisons for existing and potential customers to highlight product benefits.
- KPI Achievement: Meet territory KPI goals, including sales volume, gross profit, and net profit margin.
- Pipeline Management: Track and report on all product and design/build opportunities, documenting and managing the pipeline from engineering specifications through project closure. Conduct win/loss analysis and implement strategies to improve win rates.
