About the role:

As the Commercial Manager, your goals and responsibilities will be to:

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with veterinary practices and groups.
• Deliver world-class service to existing and prospective clients.
• Support the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring seamless integration.
• Collaborate with the VVS team to deliver innovative, client-focused solutions.
• Attend, lead and host events, representing VVS within the veterinary industry.

This is a remote role, with the necessary IT equipment provided. A stable broadband connection is essential. Occasional travel to meet clients or attend events may be required.

What we’re looking for from an ideal candidate:

• A qualified veterinary surgeon with a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience (essential).
• A passion for building and managing client relationships. Someone with experience building and maintaining professional relationships beyond the traditional pet owner would be ideal.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• The ability to effectively support positive clinical and commercial outcomes.
• A motivated, self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively and someone who demonstrates thought leadership.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new tools and platforms.

At VVS we pride ourselves on providing an exceptional service to our client practices and for providing a stimulating, supportive work environment for our team. Salary range is £40,000 to £45,000 per annum (based on applicant’s experience and qualifications) with additional company benefits such as a discretionary annual performance related bonus scheme.

This position is full-time, Monday to Friday with a shared bank holiday cover rota.
