We are currently seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to facilitate the introduction of our cutting-edge offerings to the market. This role operates on a commission-only basis, with an anticipated annual income ranging from (115,560 to )192,600, contingent on securing 3-5 new clients per month. Exceptional performance may also lead to stock options, allowing you to participate in the success you help cultivate!
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary representative of our solutions, effectively articulating the value and functionalities of our innovative software to construction professionals, including general contractors, architects, and other influential stakeholders.
- Establish and nurture valuable relationships by connecting with decision-makers within the construction sector to foster strategic partnerships.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify industry trends, customer demands, and competitive landscape, providing insights that inform strategic direction.
- Utilize platforms such as HubSpot and ZoomInfo to generate leads, qualify prospects, and collaborate with leadership to drive sales success.
- Craft and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals that demonstrate how our software addresses real-world challenges faced in construction.
- Collaborate with the executive team to build and lead a high-achieving inside sales team, promoting a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
Required Skills
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in business development, preferably within the construction sector.
- Comprehensive understanding of the unique opportunities and challenges present in the construction industry.
- A solid track record of exceeding sales targets and cultivating enduring client relationships.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, versatile enough to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to transform research findings into actionable strategies.
