We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Remote Compliance Specialist to become an integral part of our esteemed mortgage services organization. This position is fundamental in ensuring our mortgage operations meet all regulatory requirements and industry standards. Your role will involve meticulous review of loan documents, formulating compliance policies, and providing guidance to our internal teams. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of mortgage regulations and demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining high compliance standards in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Compliance Monitoring: Conduct thorough reviews of loan documentation to ensure compliance with federal, state, and industry regulations (e.g., RESPA, TILA, TRID).
• Internal Audits: Perform regular internal audits to identify compliance risks and verify adherence to company protocols.
• Regulatory Updates: Remain updated on changes in mortgage regulations and effectively communicate these updates to relevant teams.
• Policy Development: Contribute to the creation, revision, and execution of compliance policies and procedures.
• Training & Guidance: Offer training and support to team members on compliance issues, ensuring proper understanding of current regulations.
• Reporting: Compile and present compliance reports to management, pinpointing areas of concern and suggesting enhancements.
• Documentation & Recordkeeping: Ensure accurate documentation of compliance activities, findings, and resolutions.

• Comprehensive understanding of federal and state mortgage regulations, including RESPA, TILA, TRID, and HMDA.
• Relevant certifications such as CRCM are advantageous.
