We are seeking a dedicated Professional Learning Consultant to become an integral part of our team. This remote position will focus on implementing our professional development services in schools and districts, primarily partnering with educators in San Jose, CA. Your work will be pivotal in empowering teachers to refine their teaching practices and elevate student achievements.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and nurture strong relationships with school and district leaders.
• Lead professional development workshops and personalized coaching sessions that equip teachers to enhance their instructional capabilities.
• Provide tailored support to educators through classroom observations and constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with teachers to establish goals aligned with our educational framework and monitor their progress.
• Share valuable insights and field experiences to inform program improvements and communicate impactful findings with the team.

Required Skills

• A deep-seated passion for promoting educational equity.
• Proficient understanding of Culturally Responsive Teaching and Social-Emotional Learning principles.
• Strong ability to leverage technology to enhance instructional support.
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage a complex schedule in high-pressure environments.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years K-12 teaching experience and at least 3 years of experience coaching teachers.
• Proven experience in delivering professional development and collaborating with youth from underserved backgrounds.

Compensation And Benefits

This position offers a competitive per-diem rate ranging from (650 to )750, commensurate with experience in coaching or school leadership.
