Consultant/Sr. Consultant- Market Risk Management- 8+ years- PAN India

An opportunity for a candidate who has more than 8 years of experience in Market risk management, developing and implementing pricing models, capital markets asset classes, including derivatives, fixed income, and equities.

Responsibilities

1. Providing guidance on market risk assessment, including market risk measurement methodologies, stress testing, and scenario analysis.

2. Developing and implementing advanced pricing models for financial products across various asset classes, including derivatives, fixed income, and equities.

3. Conducting in-depth analysis of market trends, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic factors to assess their impact on client portfolios and recommend appropriate strategies.

4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures tailored to clients’ specific needs.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MSc, or PhD) preferred.

2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in market risk management, pricing models, and capital markets within a consulting firm, financial institution, or regulatory agency.

3. Strong quantitative skills, including proficiency in statistical analysis, financial modeling, and programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB.

4. Professional certifications such as FRM (Financial Risk Manager), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), or PRM (Professional Risk Manager) are a plus. Ability to travel as needed to client sites.
