Role Overview:
As a Content Team Lead at WrittenlyHub, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing content strategies that align with our clients’ needs and business goals. You’ll manage a team of writers, ensuring they deliver top-notch content while fostering their professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic planning: Brainstorm and ideate content strategies tailored to different client requirements, ensuring alignment with their goals and objectives.
• Performance analysis: Regularly analyse the performance of clients’ content, adjusting strategies to achieve better results. Prepare performance reports and conduct audits to ensure efficiency and quality in project delivery.
• Team management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of writers, from hiring to exit management. Provide continuous guidance, resolve queries, and ensure the team remains motivated and productive.
• Training & development: Analyse and track writers’ performance. Design and implement training plans, and create training material to foster continuous improvement and skill development. Conduct project-specific training to ensure top-notch content delivery.
• Collaboration & communication: Conduct regular team huddles to ensure cohesive collaboration. Create and maintain content guidelines, and provide monthly feedback to the team.
• Resource mapping: Assist Project Managers in effective resource mapping and plan the end-to-end pipeline for clients’ projects. Innovate and improve project workflows to enhance efficiency.
• Learning & development: Plan skill-specific training sessions and lead team L&D initiatives. Develop and implement growth strategies that encourage self-upskilling and foster a culture of continuous learning within the team.
• Marketing efforts: Assist the team in making and create video content yourself for cross-channel marketing. You will also be potentially curating podcast type video content.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience of 2+ years in content management or a related field, demonstrating a strong understanding of content strategy and team management.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to lead and inspire a team.
• A strategic and proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• A strong desire to drive the content department towards excellence and a team-oriented outlook for the overall growth of the company.
