Overview
As a content writer/copywriter, your main job includes researching, developing insights, and creating compelling and long-form articles based on the target keywords for SEO, and immigration news. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in research and content creation, with a proven ability, and experience to translate complex concepts into engaging, informative, easily understandable, and well-structured articles. Knowledge and experience in creating articles through advanced AI prompts is a plus.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Work closely with the SEO analyst and marketing team to achieve the firm’s overall marketing objectives
- Write clear, concise, and well-researched articles based on the target keywords and current news about US immigration.
- Follow the standard operating procedure for blogging and the provided content structure in creating articles for the website.
- Answer reviews on Google My Business Profile based on the approved reply by the head of marketing.
- Ensure all content is data-driven, fact-checked, and aligned with the latest immigration policies.
- Generate images (from stock images) to include in the article for a better SEO score.
- Manage deadlines and contribute to content planning and strategy sessions.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of proven experience in writing SEO-friendly articles for a website (provide at least three published articles that you wrote).
- Strong research skills with the ability to generate insights from data, case studies, and industry reports.
- Must be a native/fluent English speaker with exceptional writing skills.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and engagingly.
- Knowledge of advanced AI prompts in generating content, and editing the result to make it as human as possible.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to work full-time on US Central Standard Time from Monday to Friday
- A background in US immigration is a plus.
