Content Writer Search Engine Optimization Specialist (Remote)

This is a 100% remote position.

The SEO Specialist will oversee all aspects of search engine optimization while creating compelling blog content to support marketing goals. You’ll collaborate with our team to develop strategies that improve organic visibility, enhance user engagement, and establish our partners as authorities in their respective industries.

Key Responsibilities

SEO Management

• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic rankings, traffic, and conversions.
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap identification to inform strategies.
• Optimize on-page elements, including meta tags, headings, URLs, and content.
• Manage technical SEO, including site speed, crawlability, indexation, and schema markup.
• Build and execute link-building campaigns to increase domain authority.
• Analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
• Provide regular performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.

Blogging

• Write and publish high-quality, SEO-optimized blog content on topics relevant to our target audience.
• Research and craft content that aligns with agency and client goals, showcasing thought leadership.
• Collaborate with designers and marketers to enhance blog content with visuals and formatting.
• Stay updated on content trends and industry developments to inform content strategy.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in SEO and content creation, preferably in an agency or similar environment.
• Proven expertise in managing technical, on-page, and off-page SEO strategies.
• Proficiency in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong portfolio of SEO-optimized content.
• Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills.
• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and the latest SEO best practices.
• Comfortable working remotely and independently in a virtual environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with WordPress or similar content management systems.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for technical SEO purposes.
• Knowledge of content marketing strategies, including pillar content and topic clusters.
• Background in digital marketing and its integration with SEO strategies.
• Experience with video SEO or local SEO is a plus.
