Key Responsibilities
- Deliver brief, solution-focused counseling to effectively address clients’ immediate mental health concerns.
- Ensure client safety for individuals presenting a risk to themselves or others.
- Refer clients to long-term treatment options as necessary, utilizing benefit plans and community resources.
- Maintain meticulous and up-to-date documentation of client interactions in compliance with established processes.
- Assume clinical responsibility for individual, family, and group counseling sessions.
- Conduct diagnostic assessments, formulate treatment plans, and provide ongoing updates.
- Manage a balanced caseload to ensure timely transfers and discharges of clients.
- Achieve or surpass performance metrics as determined by outcome assessments and client satisfaction surveys.
- Engage in program development initiatives and contribute to team growth.
- Remain informed about trends and best practices in counseling and mental health.
Required Skills
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology.
- Independent clinical license is a prerequisite.
- Demonstrated experience in providing direct clinical services and solution-focused therapy.
- Extensive knowledge of treatment issues and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services.
- Outstanding communication skills, particularly in customer service, coupled with sound clinical judgment.
- Ability to think critically, multitask, and uphold a professional demeanor.
- Proficient documentation, treatment planning, and assessment skills.
Qualifications
- A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology is required.
- An independent clinical license is essential.
- Proven experience in delivering direct clinical services is necessary.
