Country Director (Remote)

As the Country Director, you will oversee the development and execution of strategies to exceed market-level objectives and targets. Your responsibilities will include crafting the market strategy, enhancing product offerings, driving customer acquisition and retention, managing financial performance, cultivating relationships with stakeholders, identifying partnership opportunities, and contributing market insights to product and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with overall company goals for the local market.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and local authorities.
• Ensure full compliance with local regulatory requirements and that all player communications meet local standards.
• Oversee budgets and financial targets, ensuring revenue and profit objectives are achieved.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
• Design and implement marketing initiatives to boost brand visibility and drive customer growth.
• Optimize site and product presentation and promotion to maximize player volume using targeted localization strategies informed by market research.
• Collaborate with internal departments, including Finance, Legal, Marketing, and Product, for seamless operations.
• Strengthen partnerships with third-party digital brands to expand collaboration opportunities.
• Define specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) objectives for campaigns, ensuring positive ROI and alignment with business goals. Track KPIs to measure progress.
• Manage and lead a team of local managers, providing guidance and leadership to achieve operational goals.
• Report regularly to senior management on regional performance, highlighting challenges, opportunities, and key achievements.

• Experience: Proven track record of success in managing regional operations within the online gambling industry or a related sector.
