Country Manager Accounting Software As A Service For Small Businesses (Remote)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Country Manager to lead the local expansion of our accounting SaaS solution, tailored for small businesses, freelancers, and small corporations in Poland. This role is crucial for the overall success of the product in the Polish market, with responsibilities spanning product localization, development, market adaptation, and customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strategic vision with hands-on execution abilities, excelling in product ownership, IT coordination, and knowledge of local market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Localization and Product Ownership:

• Serve as the local product owner, ensuring the platform meets all legal, tax (gather and adopt local tax reports in the platform), and customer requirements specific to Poland.

• Conduct gap analysis and change management for platform features and workflows to comply with local regulatory requirements and user preferences.

• Localize all customer-facing materials, including the landing page, user manuals, help center, and social media content.

• Oversee testing of platform functionality, calculations, and data presentation in relevant screens, PDFs, and XML reports.

2. Partnership Development and Coordination:

• Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with local tax experts to ensure the platform complies with country-specific tax regulations.

• Collaborate with IT experts and integration partners to ensure seamless connections with Polish tax authorities, company registries, and financial systems.

3. Sales and Customer Retention:

• Develop and execute local sales strategies to drive platform adoption among small businesses, freelancers, and corporations.

• Implement and localize customer retention strategies and tools for the Polish market.

4. Customer Support and Experience:

• Organize and oversee local customer support to ensure timely and effective resolution of user issues.

• Work closely with support teams to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, ensuring the platform delivers clear value to its users.

• Gather user feedback, manage bug reports, and oversee new product release implementations to continuously improve the platform and refine localized features.

5. Coordination with Central Teams:

• Act as the primary liaison between the central development team and the Polish market, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market expectations.

6. Administration of the Platform:

• Manage platform content (field names, settings), oversee IT integration settings, and administer payment refund processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field. An MBA, advanced degree, or experience in accounting is a plus.

• Proven experience in product management, market localization, or as a country manager within a SaaS or technology-driven company.

• Ability to work with local tax professionals and IT integration experts.

• Experience managing customer support, sales, and retention strategies.

• Strong technical aptitude with a hands-on approach to coordinating IT development and testing.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both Polish and English.

• Strong organizational and project management skills.
