Creative Director (Remote)

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Creative Director who is as comfortable brainstorming big-picture creative strategies as they are rolling up their sleeves to execute them. This hands-on role requires a balance of leadership and production, where you’ll take charge of creating compelling visuals and campaigns while managing and inspiring the creative process.

Key Responsibilities

• Creative Leadership:
• Develop and implement creative strategies that align with Hey Lieu’s brand and client needs.
• Act as a brand guardian to ensure consistent tone, style, and messaging across all materials.
• Hands-On Execution:
• Create high-quality visuals, graphics, presentations, and other marketing assets.
• Edit videos, design social media posts, and develop web or print materials as needed.
• Collaborate on copywriting tasks for campaigns, ensuring creative cohesion.
• Project Management:
• Manage multiple projects from concept to delivery, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to gather input and feedback.
• Trend Awareness:
• Stay updated on industry trends and tools to incorporate fresh, innovative ideas.

Requirements

• Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in creative roles, with a strong design portfolio.
• Experience managing projects from concept to completion.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) and design tools like Figma or Canva.
• Strong skills in graphic design, video editing, and social media content creation.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to present and justify creative ideas.
• Mindset:
• A self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Open to feedback and dedicated to delivering high-quality work.
• Tech Setup: Reliable internet connection, laptop/desktop with design software, and a workspace conducive to remote collaboration.
