Creative Graphic Designer Marketing Communications (Remote)

We are seeking a creative and driven Graphic Designer to join our dynamic Marketing & Communications team. You will work closely with the Art Director and contribute your expertise to a variety of projects across print, digital, and multimedia platforms. This role involves meeting tight deadlines to produce engaging and visually compelling designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and present visual concepts that effectively communicate ideas through images, layouts, and other design elements.
• Create digital assets and visuals for various platforms, including apps, social media, and display advertising.
• Collaborate with the Art Director and colleagues to support campus partners/clients with branded projects.
• Generate design options and recommendations, maintaining brand standards while optimizing for relevance.
• Test and refine assets based on performance and user feedback.
• Contribute to additional projects as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Strong written and spoken English language skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud programs, especially InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, and Adobe XD (experience with Figma is a plus).
• Competence with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility with assignments and priorities.
• Experience with production management or working with external vendors is preferred.
• Photo editing skills are a plus.
• Team player who excels at building relationships across departments.
• Willingness to travel between buildings on campus regularly.
• Demonstrated success in a collaborative, matrixed environment.
• Creative problem-solving skills and ability to lead idea execution.
• Exceptional design skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Openness to constructive feedback and ability to iterate on designs.

Qualifications

• Proven success in visual graphic design, with a portfolio showcasing your work.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in visual design, including at least 2 years in client relations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, digital design, or a related field.
• Proficiency with the design software listed above.

Working Environment

• Standard office setting with occasional interruptions.
• Moderate to high stress levels.
• Quiet to moderate noise levels.

Physical Activities

• Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods.
• Occasional movement around the office/campus, with the capability to transport objects up to 20 lbs.

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
• Eligible for partial remote work based on division and team needs.

Salary

• The salary range for this position is (60,000-)65,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
