Rapidly expanding, European Headquartered E/CTRM software house seeks an experienced EMEA New Business Sales (Hands-On) Director to lead new business sales across Europe, based from any major city (with an international airport) in Europe.

My client is a massively up-and-coming E/CTRM software house with cutting edge Cloud/SaaS software solutions. They provide commodity trading software to small through to large multi-national commodity trading firms, providing end-to-end trading value chain solutions across Energy (Oil, Gas, Power, LNG, Coal & Emissions), Agricultural Commodities (Wheat, Corn, Sugar, Cotton, Coffee, Cocoa) and Metals (Gold, Silver, Copper, Aluminium, Steel and even Uranium).

With their Global HQ based in London but with staff based acorss Europe, they have built a proven reputation and network in providing best in class E/CTRM software to Utilities, Oil & Gas Majors and Commodity Trading Houses. They are a newer business though so not one of the old US legacy E/CTRM firms and have been making hige strides in achieving their goal of being the number one global E/CTRM business.

To assist in their continued growth, they seek an experienced New Business Sales Director with some experience selling E/CTRM software. Alrerady with a strong track record in Europe (and beyond), they are looking for a “closer”, so a Sales Director to own the whole sales pipeline, leveraging their network and closing lots of deals.

Reporting directly into the CEO, your role is a very autonomous requiring an experienced new business sales professional who is keen to be hands-on in selling. The role covers the European region, so you are able to work across Europe or target specific regions within Europe, but a historical track record selling ECTRM software or other enterprise software into Europe is highly needed.

It is essential that you have some ETRM / CTRM software sales experience, with a proven pedigree in enterprise software sales. It’s expected and desired that you are degree educated but this isn’t essential.

You must be 100% business fluent in English (written and spoken) with further European language fluency also be useful, especially in French, German and Spanish where the majority of existing European clients are based.

Salary: Flexible but ideally £110k-140k basic / €120k-160k basic + 100% OTE uncapped commission structure
