We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and driven Customer Service Officer Swap n Go to join our dynamic team at our Brisbane Customer Service Centre! 

In this role, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that Elgas meets its business plan objectives while delivering maximum customer satisfaction. As our ideal candidate, you’ll have a passion for customer service, excellent communication skills – both over the phone and by email – and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. You’ll be a people person with a natural flair for resolving difficult situations and conflicts.

As Customer Service Officer, you will meet Elgas’ business plan objectives whilst ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.

Additional responsibilities in this role also include:

• Provide a high standard of customer service while answering calls and emails
• Liaison with all stakeholders from agents & distributors to customers & contractors
• Establish accounts, process orders and payments.
• Act as the main point of contact with Swap n Go customers and ensure their expectations are met or exceeded.
• Advise customers on gas usage, delivery, and installation details.
• Adhere to and communicate to customers all company statutory regulations relating to LPG
• Plan, schedule, and communicate with drivers to ensure daily deliveries are being met.
• Collect and complete driver paperwork daily
• Support operations and sales teams to meet customers’ expectations.
• Perform other related tasks delegated by the Branch Manager and/or Regional Manager
• Work cooperatively and effectively with other team members to achieve shared goals.
• Ensure a safe working environment is maintained according to Occupational Health and Safety principles.
• Use analytical, critical thinking and decision-making skills to resolve problems as they arise.

Skills and experience we are looking for:

• Previous Customer Service and administrative/clerical experience
• High level of verbal and written communication
• Able to liaise and consult with internal and external clients and staff with a focus on customer service
• Able to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
• Sound computing skills, particularly accurate data entry
• Demonstrated initiative and organizational skills, and flexibility to work in a team environment and also autonomously
