We are looking for one entry level and one experienced Customer Service Officer to join our team based in Mulgrave.
About the role
Within a large and growing team, with full on-the-job training, our new Customer Service Officer will become responsible for liaising with customers and internal departments to process customer orders.
Additional responsibilities will include:
- Process sales and inventory transactions
- Create and maintain customer, supplier, and product files in our ERP (JD Edwards)
- Monitor distribution of product to customers and follow up on sales orders
- Taking inbound calls to answer inquiries, take orders, and respond to customer needs.
- Liaise with sales and support staff to keep them up to date on customer needs
- Escalate issues to the customer service 2IC or sales team when required.

About you
Experience- For the experienced position, prior experience in a similar role is essential, with medium to high proficiency in Microsoft Office and exposure to ERP systems. Familiarity with JD Edwards would put you a step above the rest, but not required.
Eagerness to Learn-Â We are looking for someone with a drive to learn; from systems to processes to our large range of products and industries.
Ability to multi-task – No two days are the same. We work at a fast pace, and often encounter tight deadlines. You will have demonstrable experience in working to an excellent standard when under pressure and being able to prioritise deadlines.
Well-developed communication skills – you will be communicating and building relationships across all levels within IMCD
