As a Customer Service Representative for Mexico, you will be responsible for understanding individual customers requirements, processing sales orders in SAP, performing due diligence associated with said orders, and managing their fulfilment end to end.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Attend to customers’ and/or sales leaders questions and issues via phone and/or email. First point of contact between Customers and Valvoline, understanding and indentifying trends and improvement opportunities on both organizations.
- Process customers’ purchase orders into sales orders in SAP
- Manage sales order fulfillment end to end including: Interact with supply chain, warehouse/plant & planning for product availability. Work with logistics for order delivery arrangement. Invoice loaded orders. Generate export documents when applicable. Resolve issues / problems and escalate as appropriate for immediate resolution.
- Work with designated Global Trade Processor to perform due diligence activities required for orders out of the United States: Complete foreign trade data requirements. Determine export controls applicable to orders out of the United States and coordinate efforts with the regulatory compliance team as needed. Maintain export records.
- Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.
- Internal Contacts – Internal interactions with sales, supply chain, global trade, planning, credit, warehouse, suppliers and vendor, accounts payable
- External Contacts – Global customers
What You’ll Need
- This role is a hybrid role that is in office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. It will be based out of our Guadalajara, Mexico headquarters.
Education Required
- Bachelors degree on Business or International Commerce or related fields
Experience Required
- 2-3 Years of experience as customer service on international companies, collaborating with departments such as production planning, shipments and logistics.

- Bilingual English and Spanish required
- Excellent communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
- Ability to identify and solve problem areas
- SAP experience and compliance skills preferred
- Must have process management skills
- Must have excellent demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with complex business scenarios
- Must be detail oriented and have strong problem-solving skills
- Must possess the following skills: Teamwork, Interpersonal, Communication, Quality, Efficiency, Innovation, Action oriented and Results driven.
