Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Customer Service Rep & Training Coordinator at TrainUp.com working standard work hours. The role involves tasks such as providing phone and chat customer support, ensuring customer satisfaction, LMS/LXP administration, and coordinating training activities. The role also includes managing customer inquiries, resolving issues, sourcing instructors and scheduling virtual live webinars.

Inbound customer requests are generated from monitoring chat, email replies, social media messages, phone calls, etc. Candidates will, answering questions and escalate as needed, scheduling, and rescheduling of students, work with providers for enrollments, scheduling and payments. You will be trained to conduct initial customer training needs assessments and suggesting training courses, solutions and scheduling demos.

The position also includes lots of research on industry events, potential podcast guests, new training providers and curriculum/content reviews. Desired is a highly organized and detail-oriented learning coordinator supporting our US team and customers. The Training Coordinator will be responsible for the smooth and efficient execution of training programs, guiding users through our Learning Experience Platform ensuring a positive and impactful learning experience for our customers.

Qualifications

  • Customer Service Representatives (CSR) and Customer Support skills
  • Strong English communication skills written and verbal
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience taking live calls and managing customer inquiries and resolving issues
  • Ability to coordinate training activities and programs
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • At least 3 years of experience in a training or learning & development role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Training & Development, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for learning and development, and a desire to contribute to the growth of others.
