Job Details:
Cubic Transportation is hiring for our UMO Call Centre! This will cover the whole of the BC Transit bus system across British Columbia.

This is a work from home position.

Do you have at least six months of Awesome Customer Service experience?
Do you have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook?
We are open from 7am – 7pm Mon- Fri and 8am – 4pm – Sat/Sun every day of the year. You will be given regular shifts and you must have an element of flexibility for this role to cover business needs. There will be a requirement to be able to work weekends.
You will work a guaranteed 40 hours per week over five (5) days with two (2) days off together.
We offer full benefits on the following month of joining.
There is a three-month probationary period.

We will be doing interviews over Microsoft Teams we will assist you with this.
We do extensive background checks and your credit should be in good order and up to date.
Our training is full time paid (1 week). We are looking to start training on November 18th, 2024
You will be required to go to our office in Burnaby for the training period and the training hours will be 9am -5:30pm Mon-Fri.
You will then transition to working from home and start working your issued regular shift.
All equipment, laptop and peripherals will be provided at the end of training for you to set up from home
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Answers all incoming calls from customers.
  • Performs all assigned tasks as quickly and accurately as possible.
  • Follows all established policies, procedures and written/verbal instructions.
  • Must be a good multitasker and have great communication as well as being a team player.
  • Answers all inquiries related to BC Transit.
  • Initiates outbound calls as needed.
  • Answering email and working chat inquiries.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 6 months of Customer Service experience. Must be a good team player. Must possess a positive attitude. Must excel in a fast paced environment. Able to work and respond in a high volume situation. Ability to type 35 words per minute (WPM). Proficient in Microsoft Office.
MUST BE FULLY FLEXIBLE.
The position requires the ability to work from home in a quiet setting with a stable internet connection MINIMUM SPEED 50 mbs.
$ 17.40 – $ 18.50 + benefits.
