In this pivotal role, you will engage in a vibrant, fast-paced call center environment, developing strong partnerships with clients and agents while managing an array of service requests and payment processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Address incoming calls by providing accurate information, conducting thorough research, and initiating necessary procedures.
- Manage billing inquiries, including updates to account numbers, payment types, premium letters, refund requests, payment histories, and other relevant transactions.
- Facilitate manual premium payments and various service requests by phone or check.
- Process authorizations to disclose information as required.
- Oversee website inquiries and address questions directed from Corporate Communications.
- Complete necessary insurance verifications and follow-up calls to gather missing items or funds for policy updates.
- Document customer interactions and maintain an organized record of transactions.
Required Skills
- A minimum of 3 years of customer service experience is essential.
- At least 1 year of accounting experience is preferred.
- Experience in the insurance sector or a call center environment is advantageous.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
- Proficient in prioritizing and organizing a diverse workload.
- Flexibility to accommodate a varied schedule, including occasional overtime.

- An Associate’s degree in business or a related discipline is required.
