Customer Support Engineer (Remote)

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Customer Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will have a central position in the support and further development of our software for emergency services, which saves lives and significant value every day. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the delivery of critical ICT solutions. This is a remote role reporting to the Director, Customer Support.

Responsibilities:

• Be part of the team responsible for maintaining and ensuring new software versions are deployed across various environments.
• Support and troubleshooting on Level 3 tickets
• IT security

Be a part of duty on call 24/7/365

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related fields.
• Experience with Azure, Scrum and DevOps practices.
• At least 5 years’ experience with Software development, and the latest versions of C#, .NET, MS SQL.
• Familiarity with one or more of these technologies and tools: GitHub, GitOps, Splunk, WPF, WCF, OpenId Connect, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, RabbitMQ, Blazor and ArcGIS GIS platforms.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English, both written and verbal.
• Must be able to obtain security clearance at the “confidential” level.
