Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Support Specialist to become a key member of their European Intermediary Customer Support team
This role will be the key connection between our European Insurance Intermediary and customers, providing exceptional service and support.
The ideal candidate will have a background in insurance, with a focus on customer-facing roles and complaint handling.

Sounds great! What will my day-to-day look like?
- Engage directly with customers through various channels (phone, email, chat, etc.)
- Identify and assess customer needs to provide the best solutions
- Advocate for customers and ensure their interests are well-represented
- Collaborate with colleagues and outsourced service providers to resolve customer support issues
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of customer complaints
- Escalate complex queries and complaints in accordance with internal procedures
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in line with business and regulatory requirements
- Support Senior Customer Support Representatives and management as needed
- Perform other duties as directed by management
What do I need?
- A recognised qualification under the Central Bank of Ireland’s Minimum Competency Code (APA, CIP, ACII, FCII, QFA, LCOI, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role within an insurance intermediary or insurance contact centre
- Strong knowledge of general insurance products and the insurance sales process
- Experience in handling customer complaints is an advantage
- Fluent in both French and English; additional language skills (e.g., Spanish) are a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google applications
- A degree or 2+ years of customer service experience
- A positive attitude with the ability to influence and inspire colleagues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A customer-first mindset with a focus on finding solutions
Additional Information:
The successful candidate will be required to comply with the Central Bank of Ireland’s Fitness and Probity Standards for this role.
This opportunity is an 8-month contract, office work.
