Cyber Security Engineer (Remote)

We are in search of a Cyber Security Engineer to be a part of our team in a remote role. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of our information systems. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be tasked with designing, implementing, and monitoring security measures to protect our computer systems and network infrastructures.

Responsibilities:

Design robust security systems to prevent unauthorized access or damage to company data.

Implement security measures such as firewalls and encryption using technologies like Checkpoint and Cisco ASA.

Conduct regular audits to ensure that systems are functioning as expected and identify any potential security risks.

Stay updated with latest trends in cyber security and ensure that our systems are protected against these threats.

Utilize skills in cloud technologies to ensure the secure storage and access of company data.

Collaborate with team members to establish best practices for network security.

Develop and implement security standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple platforms and diverse environments.

Perform AB testing to evaluate the efficiency of different security measures.

Use skills in configuration management to ensure that all systems are running with up-to-date security measures.

Manage AWS technologies to ensure the security of our cloud platforms.

Requirements

Proven experience in a Cyber Security role
Proficiency in Checkpoint and Cisco ASA
Familiarity with Cisco Technologies
Understanding of Cloud Technologies and AWS Technologies
Experience with Firewall Technologies
Knowledge of AB Testing procedures
Ability to conduct Auditing processes
Skills in Configuration Management
Strong understanding of Cyber Security best practices
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
