Data Cloud Engineer (Remote)

Andersen, an international IT company, invites a Data Cloud Engineer to work on a large-scale project for our customer from the Netherlands.

The project is the development of new features for the customer’s website. 

Responsibilities: 

– Designing and implementing integration strategies to consolidate data from various sources into Salesforce Data Cloud.   

– Managing data flows between Salesforce Data Cloud and other Salesforce products (such as SFCC, Marketing Cloud) or external systems.   

– Developing and maintaining optimal data architecture models to ensure that the data solutions are scalable and secure.   

– Configuring and maintaining the database according to the organization’s needs and compliance requirements.  

– Implementing data governance policies to ensure data integrity and quality across the platform.   

– Developing routines for data cleansing, deduplication, and consistency checks to maintain the health of the data ecosystem.   

– Developing custom scripts, APIs, and Salesforce applications to automate data processes and enhance data functionalities within the organization.   

– Using Salesforce’s development tools and languages (like Apex, SOQL, SOSL) to create advanced data manipulation and reporting features.   

– Monitoring and optimizing system performance by performing regular tests, updates, and adjustments.   

– Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data performance and scalability.   

Must-haves: 

– Proven experience in data engineering, database administration, or a similar role, specifically within the Salesforce ecosystem for 2+ years.  

– Experience in managing large-scale database projects and data integration efforts. 

– Strong knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud, Salesforce APIs, and related Salesforce technologies.  

– Proficiency in database technologies, ETL tools, SQL, and Salesforce-specific languages such as Apex and SOQL.  

– Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, and user data security in Salesforce. 

– Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across various teams.  

– Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above. 

Nice-to-haves: 

– Experience with Tableau BI.
