Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer with over 4 years of
experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should be procient in working with Google
Cloud (GCP), setting up ETL pipelines, automating data processes, designing and
implementing data models, and creating dashboards for reporting. You should be well-
versed in Python, SQL, and other relevant programming languages, as well as have a strong
understanding of data governance, GDPR compliance, and industry-standard best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for
seamless data ow and integration from multiple sources.
• Automate data workows to enhance data processing eiciency and reduce manual
intervention.
• Build and optimize complex data models for eicient storage, retrieval, and
processing.
• Develop dashboards and reports to enable data-driven decision-making across
teams, using tools like Looker Studio, Tableau, or equivalent.
• Implement best practices for data governance, ensuring compliance with GDPR and
other regulatory standards.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the performance of data pipelines and
infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, business analysts, product
managers) to understand business needs and deliver tailored data solutions.
• Establish and enforce data security measures, ensuring condentiality, integrity, and
availability of data.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related eld.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer.
• Prociency with Google Cloud Platform services (BigQuery, Cloud Functions,
Dataow, Pub/Sub, etc.).
• Strong programming skills in Python and prociency with other programming
languages such as Java or Scala.
• Solid understanding of relational databases (SQL) and experience working with
NoSQL databases.
• Experience with ETL tools and automation frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and schema design.
• Familiarity with dashboarding and reporting tools like Looker Studio, Power BI, or
Tableau.
• Strong understanding of data privacy regulations, including GDPR and other
compliance frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and containerization
(Docker, Kubernetes).

Preferred Qualications:

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Experience in advertising is a major plus.
