Job OverviewJoin our dynamic team as a Data Engineer, where your expertise will play a pivotal role in developing and optimizing Business Intelligence and analytics solutions that convert data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities
- Construct, manage, and enhance data pipelines that effectively extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into our data warehouse, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Drive process enhancements by identifying opportunities for optimization, including infrastructure redesign for improved scalability and the automation of manual tasks.
- Conduct ongoing evaluations to refine and elevate the efficiency and reliability of our systems.
- Support the maintenance of the data warehouse to uphold a stable, high-performing analytics platform.
- Develop and maintain clear technical documentation for processes and systems to facilitate seamless collaboration and system upkeep.
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends in data management and analytics, applying new insights to enhance our existing systems and processes.
Required Skills
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or similar fields, emphasizing data modeling, database administration, and ETL processes.
- Proficient understanding of data modeling techniques and various data structures, with hands-on experience in ETL tools (preferably dbt) and database management systems.
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with data storage technologies and visualization tools such as Tableau and Alteryx.
- Exceptional analytical skills combined with a strong problem-solving approach, demonstrating initiative and creative thinking in challenging situations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or 5+ years of equivalent practical experience in a data engineering role.
