Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Developer with extensive experience in MongoDB, MariaDB, and Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of professional experience in designing, developing, and managing robust, scalable, and high-performance database systems. This role requires a deep understanding of database architecture, performance tuning, and data modeling, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Database Design & Development: Design, develop, and optimize databases using MongoDB, MariaDB, and Snowflake to support various applications and services.
Performance Tuning: Conduct performance analysis and tuning to ensure efficient query execution and database performance. Optimize data storage and retrieval for large datasets.
Data Modeling: Develop and maintain logical and physical data models to support new and existing projects. Ensure data integrity, quality, and security across all systems.
ETL Processes: Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to load data from various sources into target databases, ensuring data quality and consistency.
Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, data scientists, and business analysts, to understand data requirements and provide technical guidance.
Documentation & Best Practices: Maintain comprehensive documentation for database schemas, processes, and procedures. Implement and enforce best practices for database management and usage.
Security & Compliance: Ensure databases comply with security standards and regulations. Implement data encryption, access controls, and other security measures as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience: 5 -10 years of professional experience in database development and administration, with a strong focus on MongoDB, MariaDB, and Snowflake.
Technical Expertise:
MongoDB: In-depth knowledge of MongoDB architecture, indexing, sharding, replication, and aggregation framework, etc.
MariaDB: Proficiency in MariaDB/MySQL, including database design, query optimization, stored procedures, and performance tuning, etc.
Snowflake: Experience with Snowflake data warehousing solutions, including data loading, querying, and optimization, etc.
Data Warehousing: Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
