Data Engineer (Remote)

Responsibilities:

Data Architecture:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design solutions.

Data Integration:

• Develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for seamless data integration.
• Integrate data from various sources into centralized data warehouses.

Database Management:

• Optimize and manage databases for performance and reliability.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through robust data governance practices.

Data Modeling:

• Create and maintain data models that facilitate efficient querying and reporting.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support analytical initiatives.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in database management systems (SQL, NoSQL).
• Expertise in ETL processes and data integration techniques.
• Advanced programming skills, preferably in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data storage solutions (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills in English
