Contract Type:

• Employment Contract (UoP): PLN 20000 gross/month
• B2B Contract: PLN 1400PLN/day

About the project:

For our client, one of the major European energy companies, we are looking for a Data Engineer to be a part of a CASA Team, focusing on creating Finance Analytics solutions. It is the internal project for the company.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Enablement of the new data sources availability – API connection
• Development of the T-SQL code in Snowflake DBT cloud infrastructure
• Data Bricks layer evolution
• Fabric layer resource management
• Delivering solutions on the overall development platform level
• Creation and improvement of the process and tooling for the other development team

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Expertise in SQL (writing and optimizing complex queries; preferably in T-SQL or Snowflake dialects)
• Writing clean and self-documenting code
• Practical knowledge of code version control (preferably GIT)
• Experience with Azure DevOps (working with CI/CD pipelines, Repos and Boards)
• Experience with Azure Storage, Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory
• Practical knowledge of ELT and data warehousing concepts (preferably data lakehouses, medallion architecture, etc.)
• Experience in working with Power BI semantic models and Power BI reports
• Good knowledge of DAX language and its usage in tabular models
• Experience with dbt core

It would be great if you also have:

• Experience working with SAP data
• Experience in working with infrastructure as a code (Terraform)
