Tasks:
Involved throughout the process, starting with collecting, transforming, curating, and serving data through big data solutions.
Provide actionable insights using reporting tools
Collaborate with team members, marketers, data analysts, and business analysts to understand marketing challenges, business questions, processes, etc.
Develop solutions using Agile and Dev/Ops methods and technologies such as AWS, Power BI & Adobe Suite (AEP & ecosystem).
Participate in cross-functional teams to promote technology strategies, analyze, test products, perform proofs-of-concept, and pilot new technologies and methods.
Establish and document standards, guidelines, and best practices for teams utilizing the solutions.
Keep current on industry best practices and products that can be leveraged to support the company’s business objectives
Requirements:
At least 5 years of working experience in developing and supporting big data solutions
Strong knowledge and experience in AWS Cloud Platform, Athena, Redshift, and AWS Data Pipeline. – The candidate should be able to design, develop, code, implement, and deliver robust and sustainable streaming and batch big data solutions built on the AWS cloud platform.
Strong experience in Data Storage and Data Lakes: Amazon S3, AWS Lake Formation, Amazon Glacier and Glacier Deep drive.
Extensive experience in Data Processing and ETL: AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, AWS step function.
Strong experience in Data Security and Governance: AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), AWS Key Management Service (KMS), Amazon Macie, AWS CloudTrail.
Expertise in Monitoring and Optimization: Amazon CloudWatch, AWS Cost Explorer and Trusted Advisor, AWS Config.
Strong experience in Data Integration and Workflow Orchestration: Amazon EventBridge, AWS Data Migration Service (DMS), AWS Batch.
Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases, data mapping, and ETL tools with a preference for AWS cloud-native tool.
Expertise in Data Warehouse concepts and Schema modeling.
Experience in Azure and GCP Cloud Platform is very nice to have.
Programming skills (Python, PySpark, Pandas, Boto3, SQL, JSON, Apache Spark, Hadoop, HDFS, HIVE, or presto)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior management.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or any related field.
