  SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:

  • Join a small, elite team within this company to build a new business focused on data infrastructure, AI-powered content creation, and financial solutions. You’ll play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and operating high-performance data infrastructure using Python and Terraform.

  RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and implement data management infrastructure using Python
  • Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform
  • Implement high-performance, low-cost data infrastructure operations using various monitoring tools and services
  • Collaborate with the team on other tasks as assigned

  REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of experience as a data infrastructure engineer using Python (OSS contributions considered)
  • Equivalent experience in Go or Ruby with a willingness to learn Python is a plus
  • Experience in building data management platforms with Python
  • Experience building infrastructure using Terraform, especially containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
  • Experience operating data infrastructure and various data services (BigQuery and Snowflake preferred)
  • Fluent (N1 level) or Native Japanese. Business English is nice to have.
